The frames and the overload of code makes the page very heavy to load. The frames creates unnecessary scrollbars.

The course reports is OK, but wouldn't it be more perspicuous if the all the reports had its own overview. It'll be easier to review each course at the same time instead of having to enter each and every single course to get the reports and grades ++.

And the notification should be done in a better way. It should tell exactly what's new/just updated. Maybe on the front page? So you don't have to enter each course just to see that there's a new message in the forum you don't follow.
It's learning marks my courses red every day as if there's a new update just because I have a pending task with deadline. Every users is automatically subscribed to a forum topic even when they've never used the forum. You get loads of useless "new activity" notification. A better notification system with more specified alert would be a great time saver.
Like Facebook style "You got a new post on your wall", or "Someone commented on your photo". And it should be possible to have access to notification archive and a "mark all forums as READ" and "unsubscribe" button.
