Currently any user can change the ending of a .exe file to something like .doc or .zip, and then upload it to the My Files section of the ePortfolio within itslearning. Once in school they could then download these files  (which could be  executable files, .bat files, java script etc.).

Running such files from within their user areas could be a serious security risk for schools and the schools network.

It would be useful if instead of just deleting a user's account, there was the option to suspend it.

We have situations where staff (or trainee teachers etc) leave, but then may return in the future, or who go on secondment, or in the situation where someone is suspended.
