It would be very useful if Administrators could have the option of adding and deleting files and folders from the Pupils' e-Portfolios.

It would be useful if you could copy a course directly, rather than having to create an empty course and then move content from an exisitng course to the new one.
It would also speed up content creation if you could have ready made course templates available with material already partially customised e.g. images, headers etc.
Save and export courses in their own file format to upload to other Its Learning sites

Sharing courses between sites is currently difficult. If you use the community then you can't further the customise the course as your own. If you use SCORM you get unwieldy navigation. Therefore we need a simple zip style file format that enables you to download an existing course, pass it on to someone else who can then upload to their own site and maintain exactly the same layout and content as the original.

Course dashboards or landing pages are a really useful way of introducing students to a topic / course but once users navigate away from them to use other course content there is no simple way of returning to the page. You are simply returned to a list view of course content and have to click on the refresh button on your browser to reload the dashboard content. We need an option that allows the course dashboard to reload by default or at least to be able to link back to the dashboard page within the course content - e.g. a home page link.

When managing users at the moment if you want to add a poloicy you seem to need to do it on an individual user basis. I'd like to be able to apply a policy from the drop down list associated with a whole set of users.

At the moment the planner tool has to be customised for each course. We'd like to be able to set a default style for the planner to speed up its use across the site. In a school it's normal for all teachers to use the same headings and layout for planning, therefore we need to replicate this in the learning plkatform.
We'd like an admin user to be able to set the planner style (column headings and what is shown on the course iteself) and apply this across the site. Individual users could still alter the headings if needed, but the default would be the one defined by the admin.

Some pupils do have to change groups / sets during the year. It would be nice to have a transfer facility that in addition to doing this also moved / copied the history to the new group re any assessments. At the moment changes to groups is not catered for in assignments very well – and deleting them does not seem to work…. i.e. on setting them up in a new teaching group in the middle of the year they get an assignment for tasks that they were never in that class to sit – it would be nice if they did not inherit ‘old’ assignments or if not possible that such assignments could be deleted from their record, or shown as “ not in this class at the time” rather than “not submitted”– It looks as though the delete option should be possible but it does not seem to work. Similarly it would be nice for the new teacher to have a record of what they have done prior to transfer.
