It should be possible to create an "Empty garbage can" function in the administration screen with deleted people, courses and projects.
It is very time consuming to mark, hit Delete permanently, go to the bottom of the screen and hit Next when you have 8000 items. Todays solution is not acceptabel.
Trashcan-we need column for user profile and access to user information

Please add a colum for user profile in the trash can . We treat our teachers and pupils differently when restoring manually. Without the user profile, we have no way of determining which profile a user has. It would be nice if a users INFORMATION was avaliable when they were in the trash can. That would enable us to check the syncID without restoring them first.
PS trash can is two words, not one.
All pupils are deleted every year - How can we keep the ones that are going to continue next year?

At the end of a school year, all our pupils are moved to It's learning's trash can. When the next school year begins, the pupils are moved out of the trash can and all thier courses restored.
About 1/3 of these pupils are finished with school, but the other 2/3 are not. The It's learning import job should take this into account as it is the case for most educational institutions. The majority of pupils continue, the minoraty do not.
When the pupils are placed in the trash can, the number of participants in a Course drops to 1 (at best) and to 0 if the teacher no longer works there. This gives the impression that the Course is no longer in use.

Sept. 2008 a new way to administrate Courses was introduced. Using one page, it was possible to join courses og delete them. This made the job of the site administrator much easier.
At the same time we asked you to change the administration of projects to function in the same manner. We would be happy with at least a delete button, but a "join this project" would also be nice to have.
This idea is not to be found on the idea database and has been coded Closed on the help pages. When can we expet this solution to be tackled?

There is only one parameter for how long deleted objects remain "In quarantine". There should be one for each category. The need for recovery is not the same for Users as it is for Coarses/Projects or for for Exams.
The results that are shown for a taken survey do not contain necessary information so you can interpret them.
I had one matrix question, Select the day that suits you best:
week monday wednesday thursday friday
4
5
6
The attached file is the results presented in the best possible way (Excel SPSS).
Why aren't the results presented in a way that is more like the way in which they were asked and answered, that is, use colomn text instead of column number.
Regardless of what you are searching for, It's learning does not have very good response time.
Slow search is prevalent for site administrators but is also a problem for school administrators.
Searching would go quicker if the user could enter search criteria before It's learning retrieved ANY data. As it is now, when you select a criteria (for example adding a person to a Policy) It's learning retrieves the entire hierarchy before you get to enter the name. Better indexing could also solve the problem as regards person search.
There should be more fields shown when you clikk on a user to see their details. On our site Learning location is listed at HFK (Hordaland fylkeskommune). This is uninteresting as all users are a member of this "location". It would be much more usefull if the School was shown og shown in addition to the Site name.
It would be nice to have a deletion button in the list of courses/projects to make end of year clean-up easier. It's use could be restricted to ONLY the person who created the course/project.
