    Hierarchy synchronisation including subs

Posted by Ben Siebers on Oct 12, 2009 02:54 AM PDT | Active

It would be very easy when adding participants with the option Hierarchy synchronisation would offer the possibility to include the sub hierarchie(s) , so you can make a choise to ad participants from hierarchie X or one of the sub hierarchies form X, or ad participants from hierarchie X including all the sub hierarchie(s). So not only add the students from the sub hierarchies but the sub hierarchies to, so the groups are made from hierarchie X and all of the subs to.
Now, when i ad participants and want to make groups with the hierarchie synchronisation, and want to ad all sub hierarchies to make groups it can be a very time consuming job.

    search on user id

Posted by Ben Siebers on Feb 26, 2010 12:38 AM PST | Active

It would be great if it would be possible (for admins) to search on USER-ID.

    Example:

    https--files.itslearning.com-data-123-456

ID: 123 is the school ID
ID: 456 is the user ID

I would like a option to search users on the item USER_ID, in the example the number 456.

In some cases students abuse It's Learning for several things, they put agressive messages in the portfolio, they play flash games through the portfolio etc etc. In those cases, it is very hard to find a student who is behind these things. Mostly we only can see a line as in the example above. That is 1 of the reasons i really would like a search option User-ID.

    insert tree link

Posted by Ben Siebers on Jan 19, 2011 12:54 AM PST | Active

When we want to insert a tree link we see a very long list with + marks instead of a real director tree. We work with one map for each grade, in that map we have included all courses. So no separate courses anymore. (See pictue 1 and 2)

This makes the list even longer when a teacher wants to insert a tree link. Is it possible to change this view of the list to a real directory tree. (see picture 3)
