Calendar access through RSS/webcal would allow the calendar to be opened on both calendar applications (e.g. iCal) and mobile devices (e.g. iPod and mobile phones). This feature is already embraced by one of itslearning's competitors (StudieWeb) and it would greatly enhance the user experience. Although the scheme was initially set up for iCal only, it is currently supported by most calendar applications and can be synced with windows mobile devices as well.
