A new uploader is desperately needed.

The current one has a 60mb limit (though in practice less than 50mb). Also, when trying to upload folder structures, if the subfolders are more than 1 deep you get an error saying there's not enough space to create the folders.

And then there's the random, but persistant, http 500 error that can mean having to try to upload anything up to 10 times.

It took nearly a full day to upload work for 1 subject - this is bad enough for technical staff, but teaching staff will just refuse to use the system.
