The tests should have a function that autosave the answers or a possibility for the students to save every answer without having to save the whole test. If the student accidentally close the browser he doesn't have to start from scratch.
In some cases the students are allowed to use e.g. google or other program when they are taking a test. With many windows open the chanse to accidentally close the test is larger.

It would be good if the student could see how many scores one question is worth in a test. Then they also know how much time they should spend on a question.

It would be very timesaving to have a direct link to improve questions while i am going through the questions to secure a good quality. This aspect is by now very poor in the test function.

In the test section it would be very welcome to have questions where it is possible to drag and drop items on to a specific section of a picture. For example: I teach music and it would be very helpfull if students could put given note values on a staff where they have to ad the notes to a certain pitch. Or put ties between notes. It should be possible. At least it is a form that was used this years exam on music in The Netherlands, made by www.Cito.nl.
Assessing Answers: "OK and Next Student" returns already marked tests

When assessing answers (on Firefox), if I mark part of the group and return to mark the rest later, clicking the button 'OK and Next Student' doesn't restrict itself to unassessed tests, but reopens tests that I have already graded and saved.
What's more, the only positive alternative to 'OK and Next Student' is 'OK', which saves the information, but returns you to the test that you've just marked, forcing you to find the 'Back to Result Overview' button in order to get to the next student.
In short, there is no reliable way of getting quickly to the next student. It take 3 clicks when it need only take one.
SOLUTIONS:
First prize: 'OK and Next Student' should only take the 'next student' from those whose tests are unmarked.
Second Prize: 'OK' should return to the result overview, not the test that just got okayed. That would eliminate one unnecessary click and page load. (Unless other teachers find it useful to still be on the same test screen; I just can't imagine what you'd still need to be doing there after you've already said 'OK'.)

If pupils take a time limited test online they have the possibility to cancel the test and return again later on.
In other words they have the possiblity of finding answers on the net or elsewhere and return to the test.
Suggestion: a possiblity of deactivating the cancel-button.
It's important for many teachers.

Exactly what problem will this solve?: Not possible to make questions in the test tool, that involve numeric answers and calculations and allow correct answers within a certain range.
For whom do we solve that problem?: Teachers
How will we measure success?: Easier for especially math teachers and teachers in technical subjects to create test questions that require numeric answers and automatically calculates the correctness of the answer (range defined by the teacher himself).
What alternatives are out there?: NR
Why we are best suited to pursue this?: NR
Why now?: Long standing customer wish. Especially from technical schools.
User story:
As a: Teacher
I want to: be able to easyily create test questions, that requires numeric answers and to define a range within which I accept answers.
so that: I can easily create such a question without myself having to write every accepted alternative to the 100 % correct answer (which is possible in it's learnings 'open' and 'short answer' questions).
This is very much asked for by teachers at technical schools. They often argue that they know it is possible in Blackboard (question types Calculated Formula Question, Numeric Answer Question) and so it should be in it's learning.
