I´d like an Ipad (and Andriod?) app which allows the teacher to combine a calendar of choice, class/group lists, viewing/taking absence, assessing "on the fly", sending messages/mail/SMS and notetaking. Sharing options on the notetaking. Maybe also include an easy way of creating simple tests for collecting evidence about learning or to increase student involvement (a varient of the current tool).

It´s hard to move files from IPad to IT´s Learning today. I suggest implement a webdav connection to "my personal files" in ePortfolio. And from assessments give students option to get files from there ePortfolio (not only the local computer)

It's Learning should be focusing in developing an iPad/Android app. If we want our students to use distance learning, THAT is the way to do it.

One thing you could add quickly is a graphic to be used as the home screen icon bookmark on iPhones/iPods/iPads. Now you get a miniture version of the homepage which is very anonymous. You have a good and simple logo which would look great on the home screen on my iPhone!
