When I want to send a message to more groups at once, I can't check more than one group (when using hierarchy). This means I have to go through the whole hierarchy for every group I want to add to my To field.

When I see the list of groups, it would be very convenient that there are boxes to check, so I can add groups easily (these boxes are there when I see the students that belong to a group).

Several teachers miss the ability to send message to selected users, when the teacher working on their Course. For example, sometimes only a selected group of students need to be notified for something regarding the course. Or, perhaps only teachers and the like need some information.

Have a look at the attached screen shot.
It would be very efficient if one could simply filter out the group of persons, by way of selecting Students in the Profile drop down box.
And then select some of the students by clicking on the Check box on the left for each student i question. Much like when removing users from the Course.
