I like - Facebookish and Social Media like functionality

The reason why students and teachers ask us to create Facebook like funtionality is that they want higher participation and engagement. A very easy way of signaling participation is the Facebook feature I like (thumbs up). In a class discussion it is common to support /second others arguments, but without rephrasing them. People just nod or say yes... or something.
On Facebook this is done by I like. A similar feature in the discussion foum would serve the same purpose.
It would be nice if the Discussion report would display the number of 'Likes' given and received on a personal level so the teacher can see how much each student participate.

Hi!
Could it be possible with a Auto LogIn on It's Learning?
It would be genious if you just checked "remember me", and from then, you would always be logged in as you on this computer. The idea is very similar to Facebooks log In. I think this would be easier, if you just typed www.itslearning.com in the URL, and when the page is finish loading, you would be automaticly logged in as your self.
