    We picked up this idea from our Release Blog:

    "As a usuer of it's at university level, it would be an added bonus in discussions if users could tumbs-upp (like) or thumbs-down (disslike) comments making it easier for those that are not as active to still participate in discussions by showing their biases."

    Maybe the choices should be more like "I support" / "I disagree"?

    For whom do we solve a problem :
    The student will get more feedback as the the threshold for participation is lower. The teacher may experience that the participation level in disussion may increase.

    Why solve this problem? :
    It is important to encourage students to participate in discussions. Sometime is it not neccesary to write much, just give a sign back that I agree / I support you / etc...
