In Sweden we use comma for decimal point. This makes it hard in a test to have answers with comma. If you use keywords there will be a mismatch between the answer and the separation of answers.
For example if the answer is 3.2 V my students will answer 3,2 V. If I would like to have several keywords like 3,2 , 3,2V , 3.2 V , 3.2V , 3.2 , ITS will interpret this as if both 2 and 3 is a correct answer.
Semicolon is not so widely used and would be better to use as separation mark. This is valid for the conversion from the curriculum to an Excel sheet too.
