Download/Export-feature in Courses for students as well

As I was recommended by It's Learnings Key Account Manager to post this idea again, although it is already on the top ideas list, I do so:

Students do not have the ability to download more than one file at the time in Courses. There is no Export (IMS)-feature available for students in courses, as it is in Projects and probably also in courses for teachers.

If you would please consider giving students the ability to download all files in a folder in courses, or the whole course-folder, possibly by giving students the Export (IMS)-feature in courses as well as in projects, I would be very thankful!

For whom do we solve a problem :
Students and pupils - who want to download material from Its learning

    Why solve this problem? :
Save students and pupils from a lot (!) of time, as they now have to click through each and every item in a folder, just to download the files.

I can confirm from an administrator/teacher point of view that there is an IMS export function for courses as well. The function is lacking a bit though, as it does not contain the original folder/file structure, but rather allocates content to separate folders (see attached picture).

I support the initiative to enable this feature for the students as well. It does not need to be a general policy, but rather a policy that could be set for a specific group of users by a site administrator.

An improved export feature containing folder structures and content would be preferable, but the IMS export as of now is a better option for the students than nothing.

If server capacity is an issue here (millions of users generating zip-files), some kind of cache solution might help (e.g. keeping zips for download once created).
