It would be useful if the courses could be arranged across the page or in columns. At the moment we are finding that as we have added quite a few courses they are all on the left hand side and not all are visable on the screen so this requires the children to scroll down to see the bottom ones.

Please improve the options for the login page, so we can format the texts and messages and so we can add a logo or a picture of our school(s).
Maybe you could add a full-html-editor to the News option.
The login page does not really invite people to enjoy itslearning, as it is boring and does not allow us to make it look nice!
We'd also like to be able to put manuals up there (how do i login, etc.)
It's not just a login page, it is a Welcome! page.

Some pupils do have to change groups / sets during the year. It would be nice to have a transfer facility that in addition to doing this also moved / copied the history to the new group re any assessments. At the moment changes to groups is not catered for in assignments very well – and deleting them does not seem to work…. i.e. on setting them up in a new teaching group in the middle of the year they get an assignment for tasks that they were never in that class to sit – it would be nice if they did not inherit ‘old’ assignments or if not possible that such assignments could be deleted from their record, or shown as “ not in this class at the time” rather than “not submitted”– It looks as though the delete option should be possible but it does not seem to work. Similarly it would be nice for the new teacher to have a record of what they have done prior to transfer.

The reason why students and teachers ask us to create Facebook like funtionality is that they want higher participation and engagement. A very easy way of signaling participation is the Facebook feature I like (thumbs up). In a class discussion it is common to support /second others arguments, but without rephrasing them. People just nod or say yes... or something.
On Facebook this is done by I like. A similar feature in the discussion foum would serve the same purpose.
It would be nice if the Discussion report would display the number of 'Likes' given and received on a personal level so the teacher can see how much each student participate.

Why isn't it possible for a teacher to add calendar items for groups or single students within courses, instead of the the whole course or projects?
It is only possible to add calendar items for a course as a whole and therefore all the students within that course.

I would like the new "Registration" tool to include an option for group registration, similar to the "Use groups" option in assignments.
