Welcome to contribute to the development of it's learning. This is the place where you can suggest new features or improvements to excisting functionality. Please post your ideas in english. You may also vote for ideas posted by other it's learning users.
Please put the suggestions into a context and describe the goal and purpose of the desired functionality. Sign up for your user account to participate.
Watch the ideas come alive; Check out our release blog.
NB! Please post only one idea in each posting so it will be possible to know which idea that receives votes. Example: "I would like better reports in the gradebook and notification on the main page when a new grade is set" = two ideas. In this example we would also appreciate a short description of what kind of data new reports should include and also a reason for why the idea is important.

After the last update on 26 august 2010, the email viewing on the dashboard has been changed.
Many of our employees and teachers think that this is not a good idea, especially when you log on its learning and you need to show something in a presentation in the classroom.
I called support today, but its seem there is not a option to change that.

For many exams given in the university system within the US, there are requirements from the accreditation agencies to require certain levels of security during fully online exams. (even on-ground exams). There are several 3rd party products, however none of them are "integrated" with Its Learning in any form or fashion that I can find.
Several key requirements:

It would be nice to make multiple links at once. I have a large amount of files to wich I would like to link in different courses. I would like to do this in an easy way: just upload one folder with multiple links like I can upload multiple files (with Java).

Since Its Learning doesn't currently allow terms to active a course before or after a specific date it would be helpful if students did not have the option to show courses which teachers or administrators have moved into the archives. This would allow a course to maintain a students parcitipation (sometimes required during accreditation review) and not allow them continued access to a course. It is not customary for higher education to provide unlimited access to courses once the course has been taught.
Having to rely on each folders specific active date can be problematic. Removing the students access to the archives solves this problem.

as an administrator it would be great if the instructors can be added in the report on participants but only to be visible to administrators. Occationally its important to be able to track an instructors participation in a course partiularly for instructors new to online education.

The tool that enables you to find a course to enroll people into while in user and access rights need to have a check box in front of the courses listed so you can select more than one to enroll someone into. The only other great option to have would be to be able to enroll people into their courses through a parser file instead of doing it manually everytime.

In a perfect world in online courses the course content would be tied to the terms in which the courses reside so students couldn't view course content until the term has been reached and not visible after the term has expired.

As an administrator it would be helpful to have the option to "log on as" a student or instructor so see what they are seeing at that time. Many students will say they see an error message but can't explain exactly what they're seeing. The log on as function will allow me to better understand exactly what they are seeing when they login without having to change their password, login as them, and then notify them that their password has been changed and will need to be reset to whatever they want it to be.
