Something that is featured on a lot of sites, a "remember my login" option would be very handy to have. This is especially useful for use with applications like Mozilla's Prism.

I totally agree with you. As of today it isn't even possible to have the browser rember the password.

@Fredrik: you are right. It wouldn't me that much of a problem if the browser would be able to remember it, but it doesn't.
With remembering, I don't simply mean automatically filling in, but preferably staying logged in.

Sorry but with working in school 11-16year olds then this would not be good as other students will be able to access their account and access their work and change their settings, so a NO NO from me

I’ve just read this information in the It’s learning blog. It seems possible to create one general log on username and password for users. I’ve just actually sent an e-mail to my school ICT team to see what the chances are that this could be implemented. Having to go through only one log-on step to access all system resources –including It’s learning- would be extremely beneficial for everyone and would prevent any missuse of the system by the students (as John Allen points out very sensibly)
New solutions for interoperability and single sign-on
The Netmedia solutions Lynchpin and MyIdentity are now fully integrated with it's learning. Lynchpin automatically creates, amends, populates or deletes accounts in it's learning, while MyIdentity provides one point of log-in to access several different systems, resources and content across multiple locations, eliminating the need for multiple usernames and passwords.
